What WISE SPECIES means

WISE SPECIES is a mnemonic. “WISE” explores experience and stands for wisdom, identity, synergy and expression. “SPECIES” explores expression – social, physical, emotional, cultural, intellectual, economic, spiritual . . . and more.

For individuals

Based on 20 years’ of research and observation, comedian and social entrepreneur Philip Patston created WISE SPECIES as a powerful and holistic framework for change. He works with people to make life changes, using an initial visioning process, which takes about an hour, followed by a detailed exploration of each of the four experience elements – wisdom, identity, synergy and expression. The process can be done face to face, via Skype or over the phone. For each session you’ll get a change plan based on the exploration in the session, and an audio recording.

Philip also offers ongoing mentoring, supervision, coaching and lifestyle planning.

For groups and organisations

Using WISE SPECIES as a core principle in facilitation, training
