People from marginalised groups need to accept that the world has moved beyond separatism. Acceptance doesn't mean just "us" fitting in with "them". It means "them" fitting in with "us" too. Sure we've needed "safe places" in the past. But until we are courageous enough to share our spaces with our allies, diversity will never be truly real-ised.
